There is a yoga tradition that is millennia old. It dates to before recorded history, from the time of Shruti, when the wisdom of “that which is heard” was passed down from teacher to student in both consciousness and training. The guru imparts knowledge and realization to the disciple and when the disciple is ready, he or she is sent out into the world to further disseminate the teachings.

By this method, Patanjali’s universally applicable science of Kriya Yoga has made its way down through the ages unscathed by the currents of time or the changing cultures through which it has flowed; Kriya Yoga is now reaching every part of the world. All the while, it remains untethered by religious doctrine and canon and unowned by church, ashram, or organization.
